and glorious morning
on the Atlantic Ocean,
soft sunrise color and light
adding varied shades
of blues and golds
to the sky and clouds
of the eastern horizon
along the coastline.
A long boardwalk brings you
through the dunes,
past the seagrapes and seagrasses
and down the stairs
on the sandy wooden planks
of the path.
Captured here on Jupiter Island
in South Florida,
the dunes and dune grasses
in the foreground
and the sea and waves behind.
